Pacifica Sunset
Santa Monica, CA
Taken the first evening I got to LA. I can’t believe I forgot to bring my tripod that day. Silly me.
There were all kinds of people by the beach that day: joggers, people walking their dogs, folks doing yoga (including one guru-looking guy), and plenty of photographers (including some doing wedding shots).
Philharmonic
Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles, CA
I spent a few days in LA for a family get together. It was good seeing my brothers and parents, whom I have not seen in a number of years. It was the first time that my dad and brothers saw my son. Alas, I wish the trip could be longer.
I hadn’t visited LA since I was little, so this was also a very fresh experience. Here are some of my thoughts about the City of Angels:
He’s Got His Own Tea!
Not as good as having his own money, but good enough!
Gateway To My Soul
Sheboygan Breakwater Lighthouse, Sheboygan, WI
Taken on a very cold and windy day. Or I should say, the wind has gotten to my soul :)
Penpals
What does the hippo say to the witch?
Frosty Sunset
I took this on a bitterly cold, made even worse by the wind. The walkway was also slippery from the ice. Despite the adverse conditions, my strong urge to take some pictures overcame them.
Legacy
Old hand-me-down camera from my father-in-law.
Let The Light Shine Through
On the last Friday before I started my new job, I decided to take a trip by myself to the Milwaukee Art Museum. I can’t remember the last time I went to an art museum without having to rush through the galleries in order to attend to my young son. It was definitely a highly enjoyable experience, browsing through great works of art and admiring the wonderful architecture.
I only wish it housed more pieces of art. Then again, I’ve been spoiled by the Chicago Art Institute’s collection.
As Daylight Streams Away
Not the prettiest spot, but the sunset sure was gorgeous.
