Midtown Fox
I was in the Atlanta region these past few days. On the last night of my stay, I met up with a friend that I met through Google+, along with her fiancé. After a fantastic dinner at Holeman & Finch Pub House (photos to come), they showed me around Midtown, where we had the opportunity to do some night photography.
One of the highlights that night was the Fox Theatre, with its rich history and beautiful architecture. I sure am glad plans to tear it down a few decades ago were stalled and the place refurbished to its original glory
The exterior somewhat reminds me of the Chicago Theatre. One of my better shots of that place was from across the street, so I decided to try the same thing here. The one problem though is that tree branches were partially obstructing the view, so it was a challenge finding a good spot. Eventually, I did manage to find a decent one, where I took this photograph.
