Shedding The Winter Blues

With temperatures still in the 30s and 40s, I have not seen any flower bloom in my area.  The only sign of spring is patches of grass turning just ever so slightly green.  So for the Flower Theme of this week’s black & white photo project, I had no choice but to go buy some.  

Typical of me, I shot the flower from the back. I just thought it was more interesting than the front shot.

Embracing Our Dreams

We stayed at a friend’s when visiting Chicago this past weekend.  I couldn’t resist the urge to photograph the flowers he had on the table :)

Loves Me Not

Rose from the bouquet I got my wife. I had completely forgotten about getting something for her for V-Day, until I overheard a coworker mentioned that her husband had flowers delivered to her at work the day before. I certainly didn’t want to be called unaffectionate again this year :)

Rebirth

New beginnings.  I’m officially coming out of retirement.
